It is rare in the modern world to find somewhere with such a wonderful atmosphere that time stands still and the pressures of life just fade away but this extraordinarily romantic and remote sanctuary for two is such a place. Snuggled on a hill overlooking views for mile after mile of exquisite countryside, surrounded by vineyards, it has flower filled rooms, the table laid for a cream tea to greet you, an enormous bed with exquisite linens, fluffy towels and dressing gowns in the ensuite bathroom, bags of hot water, candles, a woodburner ready to light and a really well-equipped kitchen, the cottage is both beautiful and immensely comfortable.

Reached by a path through the lovely garden with staggering views and surrounded by its own wildflower meadow, the cottage is detached, it has total privacy and is completely self contained with full central heating and a woodburning stove. There is private parking for one car by the main house. We will greet you and take you through the garden to the cottage and are on hand should you need.

The cottage has a charming, sunny living room with pale painted floor and walls, pretty vintage furniture and wonderful views. It has a table in the bay window, flooded with morning light and making a lovely place for a leisurely breakfast while you plan the day using the plentiful maps and guides provided.

The romantic bedroom, also with the same glorious view, has a vast bed made up with exquisite linen and sumptuous pillows, dual control heated blanket for winter; matching French style wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a dressing table with a triple mirror and hairdryer.

The bathroom is ensuite with a full sized bath and powerful overhead shower. We provide spa quality dressing gowns and towels.

The kitchen is modern and completely equipped with all the cooking utensils even a very keen cook would like, from a razor sharp set of knives down to a champagne stopper and lobster picks. It has a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, washing machine and tumble drier and is stocked with all the practical extras like washing up liquid, soap powder, fabric softener, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll and so on that you really don't want to have to pack!

More extras  we provide include: cafetière, espresso maker, English and Earl Grey tea, fresh ground coffee, milk, butter, home made jam and marmalade, olive oil, wine vinegar, sugar, sea salt and pepper grinder and much more besides.
